Zürich is experiencing the hottest days of the year, and after a foreboding night of thunderstorms, Sarah Conti's colleagues are faced with a new case. All the evidence at the crime scene points to a brutal murder. In search of the motive, the commissioner initially follows the trail of the victim - a respected psychiatrist whose life seemed to be in perfect order: a happy family in a quaint home, a prominent position at a private psychiatric clinic, and numerous admirers of his expertise. However, gradually the facade begins to crack, revealing the victim's darker side.
