The search for the missing teddy bear. Susi's favorite toy, little Paulchen, has suddenly vanished. Gustav the hedgehog, his nephew Peterle, and Gustav's friend, the magician Sim Sala Bim, embark on the search. They make an unbeatable team. Did Paulchen run away because Susi neglected him? Their dachshund Tapsi also comes under suspicion. Is he jealous because Susi hasn't played with him lately? But with the help of the hedgehogs and the magician, everything is resolved. Everyone learns something about friendship, helpfulness, and responsibility.

2. Friends in Hedgehog Valley - How all the Animals Together Cultivate a New Apple Variety
Little Peterle and his uncle Gustav's favorite fruit is sweet apples with rosy cheeks. On a sunny autumn day, Peterle comes up with the wonderful idea of growing a little tree from the seeds of an apple that will one day bear these delicious fruits. But it's a long and winding road until then. It goes through cold, icy winters and hot, dry summers. They also have to deal with disappointments. But they do not give up. And all the animals stick together. In the end, they are richly rewarded for their hard work, with advice from the magician and the help of humans.
