ICS - The internal control system

With the introduction of the internal control system (ICS) in the auditing law, many companies faced not only an increased workload but also a degree of uncertainty regarding how to implement the ICS. Although several books have since been published that outline the theoretical foundations of the ICS, based on models (e.g., COSO) and possible guidelines from auditing firms, the authors of this guide have taken a step further. After a concise theoretical section, the second practical part presents a concrete implementation proposal derived from the insights of a real case. These specific insights enable the reader, thanks to a clear and easily understandable writing style, to apply "their" ICS within their own company. Designed as a guide, this book conveys both the legal and practical foundations. Furthermore, it provides assistance in the introduction and implementation in daily use.
