With these words, Christoph Schlingensief titled the last entry in his Schlingenblog. For Schlingensief, remembering was not a sentimental process but an act of liberation to make room for the new. Thus, after the publication of "It Can't Be as Beautiful as Here in Heaven," the widely read and discussed diary of his battle with cancer, he continued the principle of recording his thoughts on art, his self-reflections, and memories on tape.
