Anna, an Italian living in Paris, works as a journalist for the radio while also teaching at the university. In the aftermath of #MeToo, she begins to reflect on her own experiences with power dynamics and sexuality, and how these relate to her ingrained understanding of gender roles as a woman. Brilliantly yet accessibly written, this novel does not offer simple answers. Instead, it poses many insightful questions that manage to illuminate a now ubiquitous topic in an unconventional and ethical manner, thereby revealing enlightening new perspectives for its readers.
