Eni Vasili, born in 1975, is one of the most well-known Albanian journalists and TV presenters. She holds a Master's degree in Communication Sciences from the Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM in Milan and has been active in the media since 1997. Her weekly talk show "Offenes Studio" (later: "Open") is among the most-watched programs in the country and consistently sparks extensive discussions on socially relevant issues. In the context of this book, it primarily addresses the oppression of Albanian women and the problems of a male-dominated, often corrupt justice system. In addition to "I Have Killed" (2016), Eni Vasili is the author of numerous articles and the book "Voices from the Darkness" (2019). Eni Vasili is the mother of twins and lives in Tirana. Basil Schader, born in 1951, is a Germanist and Albanologist. He has worked as a lecturer and project manager at the Zurich University of Teacher Education. He has translated works from Albanian, including books by Helena Kadare, Arif Demolli, and Fatos Kongoli, and he also works as an author.
