Christina Zumdieck was abused by a Catholic priest at the age of 14. In this book, she describes the consequences for herself, her family, and her faith. As a licensed psychologist, she sheds light on her own experiences, provides insights into the factors that facilitated the abuse, and identifies her perpetrator's strategies. In the second part of the book, she takes the reader along her own faith journey and explains why, despite the abuse, she is still a part of the Catholic Church. An abused Catholic woman continues to hold on to her faith in the Church.
