Can private companies contribute to peace and security in conflict regions? If so, are there specific prerequisites for this? Is there a connection between these and the private sector's contribution? Alen Bosankic aims to identify ways for entrepreneurial contributions to peace and security in conflict areas that are based on self-governance. Using a sample of 39 companies and employing Multi Value Qualitative Comparative Analysis, various corporate contributions are examined. The theoretical assumptions are based on the model of Corporate Security Responsibility, an innovative security-focused approach to Corporate Social Responsibility. Bosankic systematically explores the interaction between the public and private sectors in the context of global governance and bridges the gap between them.
