Product details
Does coaching require a coach? And if so, what are their functions? After an intensive examination of the concept of coaching, the functions of the coach in coaching are elaborated based on a theoretically derived systemic model of action. Using established quality criteria (satisfaction, goal achievement, practical benefit, development of new perspectives and more promising courses of action, emotional relief), the functions of the coach are evaluated in a comparison between individual coaching and guided self-coaching. The results of this pilot study provide important insights for both science and coaching practice. This book is particularly recommended for researchers, coaches, personnel developers, and leaders.
