IATG³. International Abbreviation List for Theology and Frontier Studies
GermanProduct details
First published in 1974, the International Abbreviations Directory for Theology and Related Fields (IATG) has long established itself as a standard work in theology and is now entering its third revised edition. About twenty years after the second edition in 1992, a renewed update and expansion of the IATG has become urgently necessary. Over 4,000 new titles from both German and international journals, series, and encyclopedias have been added. Also new is the consideration of the classification system of the Society of Biblical Literature, making the IATG a reference work for our Encyclopedia of the Bible and its Reception. Furthermore, the range of topics has expanded; works on other religions as well as on art or literature are now included. This makes the IATG even more significant as one of the most important standard abbreviation directories in an international context.
