HR-World Basis 1.1 is based on the new guidelines for the examination regulations 2017 for HR professionals and focuses on both competency orientation and foundational knowledge transfer. The detailed knowledge is systematically developed, and the knowledge transfer is based on this for both the examination and practical application. In three foundational volumes, you will find the overarching generalist knowledge applicable to all specializations. Additionally, the in-depth topics A, B, and C are described in detail in their respective volumes. This first foundational volume covers the cross-disciplinary fundamentals in Human Resources Management, knowledge of the education system, knowledge of the labor market/economic relationships, and business management contexts. The chapter structure is tailored to the circumstances. Each chapter begins with a list of competencies to be demonstrated, ensuring relevance to the examination. This is followed by a preparatory situation from everyday HR practice to better contextualize the subsequent theory for the learner. The theoretical section is supplemented with examples, notes, and key points. Following this are review tasks to clarify the current level of knowledge. Checklists and additional materials can be found in the book as well as available for download. Depending on the respective examination parts 1, 2, or 3, there are also mini-cases or (short) case studies for exam preparation included in the book. The solutions to all three foundational parts are summarized in a solutions volume. In the teaching materials for the in-depth topics A, B, and C, the solutions are provided directly in the book.
