HR-Culture Specialization A

Based on the new guidelines for the examination regulations 2017 for HR professionals, this KLV teaching material focuses on both competency orientation and foundational knowledge transfer. The detailed knowledge is systematically developed, and based on this, the knowledge is transferred into examinations and practice. In three foundational volumes, you will find the overarching generalist knowledge applicable to all specializations. Additionally, the specializations A, B, and C are described in detail in their respective volumes.

In this specialization volume for Human Resource Management, the action areas are prepared as follows: Specialization A 1: Recruitment and Separation, Specialization A 2: Advising Employees and Supervisors, Specialization A 3: Assessment, Development, Compensation, and Specialization A 4: Project Management and Infrastructure Management. The chapter structure is adapted to the circumstances. Each chapter begins with a list of the competencies to be demonstrated, ensuring relevance to the examination.

This is followed by a preparatory situation from everyday HR practice to better contextualize the subsequent theory for the learner. The theoretical part is supplemented with examples, notes, and key points. This is followed by review tasks to clarify the current state of knowledge. Checklists and additional materials can be found in the book, as well as available for download.

Adapted to the respective examination parts 1, 2, or 3, there are also minicases or (short) case studies for exam preparation included in the book. The teaching materials for specializations A, B, and C provide the solutions directly in the book. The solutions for all three foundational parts are summarized in a solutions volume.
