The workbook with vision - student-centred, multi-perspective and skills-oriented With its new concept, HORIZONTE offers everything you need for modern history lessons. Each chapter begins with a double-page spread: photos, images and graphics provide inspiration for the central aspects and topics of the chapter and enable both factual and problem-orientated introductions. Guiding questions have been deliberately omitted so that pupils can engage in dialogue with the materials. Sub-chapters The sub-chapters are each focussed on a central topic. A short text at the beginning of the chapter introduces the topic and ends with a problematisation. A possible teaching programme is outlined with the help of numerous different tasks. HORIZONTE is therefore expressly intended as a workbook. Training Central historical methods are introduced in an age-appropriate and gradual manner. Pupils are familiarised with the basic principles of historical work via training kits, which they can refer back to again and again. In addition, training boxes with hints and formulation aids help them to solve the tasks. These training boxes also enable targeted individual support and internal differentiation. Summary and self-assessment At the end of each chapter, the most important content is repeated and important dates and technical terms are named. A timeline and symbols help pupils to reorganise their knowledge. With the help of a questionnaire, the pupils can evaluate their own skills, and the teacher can use the questionnaires for constructive feedback or for individual support.
