Structure and Concept of the Textbooks

Each epoch theme of the basic modules is introduced by attractive opening pages, followed by orientation pages. These pages address the relevance of the topic and provide not only temporal and spatial orientation but also an outline of the issues at hand.

The optional and mandatory modules also include sections for orientation.

The chapters are divided into clear sub-chapters with a presentation and material section.

Student-friendly, comprehensible, and detailed texts provide an overview. Subheadings enhance the structure of the author texts, which can also be used for the self-study of students for preparation and review.

The material sections offer a wide range of resources for problem-oriented, multi-perspective, and modern history teaching. They form content and/or methodological units. Tasks aligned with the EPA operators support competency acquisition and serve differentiation. Training boxes, embedded within the content context, convey essential historical scientific methods.

Extension and deepening pages on further topics provide opportunities for differentiation.
