Holistische Orthopädie

Markus Schoberberger, born 1971, physiotherapist, worked after his studies at the Amstetten Hospital, where he provided physiotherapy for particularly difficult cases and worked in the intensive care unit. During this time, the author also had the opportunity to be present at orthopaedic operations. From 2002-2003 he worked as a teaching therapist at the University of Applied Sciences for Physiotherapy in Steyr. Early on, the author recognised the sometimes insufficient results in classical physiotherapy through exercises in the orthopaedic field. He took the rapidly growing therapeutic frustration as the impetus for a 2-decade marathon of additional training. The combination of medical expertise with other fields of knowledge such as osteopathy, psychology, shiatsu and many more allowed him to understand human physiological processes in a new but not unknown context. His love of nature and naturalness characterises his life. Markus Schoberberger currently works as a freelance physiotherapist in Amstetten and Vienna and teaches at the ISSÖ (International Shiatsu School Austria) in Graz, Linz and Innsbruck. He is particularly appreciated for his unconventional, clear and efficient therapeutic approach and for his expertise.
