Anna Freud is regarded as the founder of child analysis and early on bridged the gap between the therapeutic reconstruction of childhood experiences and educational work with children themselves. In her 1930 publication, "Introduction to Psychoanalysis for Educators," she laid the groundwork for her later professional activities, culminating in the establishment of the Hampstead Clinic for Children and the training institute for analytical child psychotherapy. This introduction is written in an easily understandable manner, presents complex relationships in a comprehensible way, and thus still provides everything necessary for understanding psychoanalysis today. Anna Freud, born on December 3, 1895, in Vienna and died on October 9, 1982, in London, was a teacher and psychoanalyst. As the youngest daughter of Sigmund Freud, she was his most important collaborator in his later years and later became his intellectual heir. She emigrated in 1938.
