Gewalt in der Schule

Violence among schoolchildren is undoubtedly a very old phenomenon. The fact that some children are frequently and systematically bullied and attacked by other children has been described in literary works, and many adults have experienced this from their own school days. In recent years, this problem has significantly intensified. The Norwegian Olweus has developed an intervention program that can provide relief. How should one respond educationally to the victims of violence? How can one counteract violence in schools, in classrooms, and in conflicts with individual students? The demonstrably successful program is now being implemented in many schools in the Scandinavian countries, as well as in the UK, Germany, and Switzerland.
