Product details

How do we recognise what fosters a new fascism? In addition to the interplay of economic, legal, cultural, material and ideological factors, there are always specific individuals who contribute to the establishment of fascist thinking. Klaus Weber's series >gestalten der faschisierung< takes a look at current tendencies and active ideologues in philosophy, literature and politics. Björn Höcke has sworn in the AfD to make him party leader. Should the party have a significant influence on German politics, he predicts that his political opponents will destroy it ("Even if we unfortunately lose a few parts of the people ..."). The second volume on Björn Höcke's ideological patterns takes a look at his image of women/men, his anti-Semitic allusions and his reference to the Nazis. Fatherland, homeland and the idea of a homogenous people as well as the medieval ideas of male-knightly "Minne" and female "Huld" refer to German fascism. His talk of the pure German people and the "remigration" of foreigners is characterised by thoughts of annihilation: Germans should abandon moral concerns and proceed with "well-tempered cruelty" (Sloterdijk) in the purification of the body of the people.
