After twelve years of secret druid training, the time has finally come. Atticus O'Sullivan can bind his apprentice Granuile to the Earth. This would double the number of druids in the world in one fell swoop. Unfortunately, at the height of the ritual, Atticus's disguise is blown. With no option left to hide, Atticus has no choice but to travel to the foot of Olympus with his loyal wolfhound Oberon and Granuile. However, the Roman god Bacchus has sworn to take revenge on him there. But he is not the only one. He must stand in line behind an ancient vampire and a horde of dark elves, for whom the assassination of Atticus is at the top of their priority list.
