AHO 3: A detailed catalog of services lists the special services that may be incurred during structural planning according to Part 4 Section 1, § 51 HOAI with Annex 14. The listed special services are aligned with the modified basic services of HOAI 2021 and meet today's planning requirements. Based on the notes from the application of previous editions of the document and inquiries regarding the remuneration of structural planning services, there was a need to clarify the distinction between basic services and special services not only in the tables but also from a practical perspective of the engineer in structural planning. The catalog of additional services eligible for remuneration includes the most frequently requested services. It is derived from the practical requirements for the daily work of structural planners for buildings and engineering structures. The services are explained in a practical manner. Additionally, guidance on fee calculation is provided.
