These four volumes contain a largely complete chronology of the locations and travels of the German dictator Adolf Hitler (1889-1945). The essential personal, political, and military events that clarify the reasons for a trip, a stay, or even the normal daily routine are documented chronologically on the respective day and, where recorded, also with the time of day. Excursions on Hitler's travel habits, the fate of his corpse, his residences, the means of transportation he used, as well as statistics on the balance of World War II and the frequency of his visits and stays in selected cities complement the work. With more than 2,200 images, about two-thirds of which are previously unpublished, the work is impressively illustrated. Data, numbers, and facts from the past are related to one another.
