About the entire work:
The Historical Dictionary of Philosophy is one of the most significant, elaborate, and successful book projects in modern German-speaking humanities.
The Historical Dictionary of Philosophy distinguishes itself from all other philosophical dictionaries through its method of presentation, the concept-historical method, in contrast to encyclopedic or systematically dogmatic approaches.
