This conference volume comprises the papers presented at the event 'Himmlische und Irdische Liebe. Ein anderer Blick auf Raffael / L'amore divino e profano. Uno sguardo diverso su Raffaello' in Rome on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the death of the painter Raphael Sanzio in 2020. The event took place within the framework of the national festivities in Rome 'Raffaello 2020'. The topic 'Love' was considered by experts from various disciplines. The conference proceedings allow a new look at the painter Raphael, who died in 1520.
