Switzerland has been seeking its role in Europe and the world not only since the outbreak of war in Ukraine. With the gradual construction of the European Union and the end of the Cold War (1989), the international situation of our country has changed fundamentally. Switzerland must consider what position it will take as a state in the middle of Europe and how it will position itself after the demise of the bipolar world. Neutrality plays a central role in these discussions.
