Author's Note
Robert Harris was born in 1957 in Nottingham and studied at Cambridge. He worked as a reporter for the BBC, an editor at the Observer, and a columnist for the Sunday Times and the Daily Telegraph. In 2003, he was awarded the British Press Award for Best Columnist. He has written several non-fiction books, and his novels Fatherland, Enigma, Aurora, Pompeii, Imperium, and most recently Ghost have all become international bestsellers. Robert Harris lives in Berkshire with his wife and four children.
