The most brutal depictions of violence, deep-rooted racism, pedophiles hunting children, sexting with catastrophic consequences, gambling scams in seemingly harmless games – it's unbelievable what children experience on their smartphones. However, the vast majority do not tell their parents about it. This is also why parents still massively underestimate the powerful impact of digital media – especially smartphones – on their children.

A whole generation of parents gives their children their own smartphones as early as elementary school, without preparing themselves or the children for it, and without providing intensive support at the beginning.
