The course content of the training courses Hernia Compact, Hernia Concrete, and Hernia Complex - now finally available as a book! The book on hernia surgery provides a fundamental, practice-oriented, and systematic overview of current hernia surgery. It serves as a complement to the existing, tiered training courses offered by the German Hernia Society and the BDC Academy. Both international and national hernia specialists describe all relevant, as well as the latest surgical techniques for the first time in a standardized manner, detailing important individual steps. The authors supplement this with their personal experiences and approaches, including tips and tricks, and present the current state of science. The book is aimed at physicians in training to become general and visceral surgeons, as well as all surgeons.
