Theologische Fundamentalethik

In response to the fundamental questions of morality – such as the justification of values and norms, the role of authorities and conscience – the author develops the model of an autonomous ethics of responsibility in its subjective, objective, and Christian-religious dimensions. The thesis of the book is that Christian ethics and secular ethics require the same fundamental ethics as their foundation – and this is essentially of a secular nature, a matter of practical reason and experience. The point is that, precisely as such, it is theologically significant.
