Frauen ins Amt!

The book "... Because God Wills It - Women Share Their Calling to the Diaconate and Priesthood" has received tremendous resonance both within and outside the church, bringing the topic of women's roles in the church back into the spotlight of discussion, including in the Synodal Path. This current book takes the next step: 100 men from the church, including many prominent figures - priests, deacons, and religious, laypeople, and also several bishops - stand in solidarity with the women's cause. In personal testimonials, they describe where they miss the presence of women in pastoral care and the joint commitment of genders in ministry. The diverse testimonies from within the church are a passionate appeal to finally recognize the various charisms and talents of women within the church. They provide a powerful response to the testimonies of women and demonstrate that women and men want to listen to the Spirit and do God's will, that women and men want change, and that women and men want justice.
