Change of profession to apprenticeship

Programs for experienced professionals training to become teachers are currently receiving a high level of interest. What motivations, experiences, and skills do career changers bring to the teaching profession? How do they manage the transition? Do they remain in the profession long-term? This volume addresses these questions and was created in the context of a joint conference held by the Universities of Teacher Education in Zurich and Bern, as well as the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
