Since the release of the first edition of the book, the world has been shaken by two fundamental events: the climate crisis and the Corona crisis. Both global crises are directly related to this book and further highlight how naturopathy can be life-saving for both people and the planet. Naturopathy offers healing programs tailored to the individual patient, whose effectiveness has long been scientifically proven. It is specifically used for disease prevention, strengthening the immune system, and stimulating the body's own self-healing powers. Each of us has the ability to strengthen and protect ourselves and to provide the body with what it urgently needs to activate its defenses. This is particularly important in areas crucial for virus defense, where many are weakened: in the respiratory system and the immune system. The measures presented in the book for the treatment of chronic diseases are precisely the measures that strengthen immunity. We can even influence our biological age. Therefore, the healing power of naturopathy is more relevant than ever. The focus is on traditional therapies, my fasting and nutrition program, gut health, exercise, stress management, relaxation, and the wonderful possibilities of new nature and forest medicine, including forest bathing.
