The standard work on Swiss flora in a revised new edition. All flowering and fern plants that grow wild in Switzerland are illustrated with color photographs and described botanically in detail. The new edition includes around 40 additional neophytes.

For more than 25 years, Flora Helvetica has been the standard work on the botany of Switzerland. Although scientifically structured and adapted to the APG standard, the work also meets the needs of less trained plant enthusiasts. Practically all flowering and fern plants that grow wild in Switzerland are depicted with one or two excellent color photographs and described in precise text. The species description includes the scientific, German, French, Italian, and Romansh names, key characteristics, ecological requirements, frequency and distribution in Switzerland, as well as additional information such as conservation status, toxicity, pharmaceutical use, and legal protection. The 7th edition has been completely revised again and includes around 40 additional neophytes.
