Product details

The Everyday Madness: We accompany the protagonist of the film series "7 Days" by M+M through a week. The two-channel installations named after the days of the week by the artist duo lead directly into the depths of a fluctuating psyche. Austrian actor Christoph Luser embodies the ambivalent main character, who appears both melancholic and threatening, and is exposed to highly contrasting situations. Each day is linked to a key scene from film history, such as from "The Shining" or "Saturday Night Fever." The artist duo M+M - Marc Weis and Martin De Mattia - is known for their immersive, self-staged, and highly intense film installations that expand the narrative possibilities of both art and cinema while completely dissolving the linearity of storytelling. M+M also questions concepts of identity.
