Product details

One of the most popular and beloved introductions to the concept of faith ever written, "Mere Christianity," has sold millions of copies worldwide.

Author: C. S. Lewis

Clive Staples Lewis was born in 1898 in Ireland, earned a Triple First at the University of Oxford, and was a Fellow and Tutor at Magdalen College from 1925 to 1954, where he was a contemporary of Tolkien. In 1954, he became a Professor of Medieval and Renaissance Literature at Cambridge. C. S. Lewis was an atheist for many years until his conversion, which he vividly describes in his autobiography "Surprised by Joy": "I gave in and admitted that God was God... perhaps the most dejected and reluctant convert in all England." He is known for his famous children's book series, the Chronicles of Narnia, as well as for his literary criticism and science fiction. C. S. Lewis passed away on November 22, 1963.
