Happiness in Styria

Martin Glück, freshly divorced and still employed as a "jumper", lands in the "Life and Limb" department at the Graz State Criminal Police Office. The Styrians' traditional aversion to anything Viennese gives the chief inspector a hard time, but Graz shows its exciting side after his arrival - in the middle of the Styrian autumn. Several mysterious deaths in the Hilmteich district keep not only the city's cultural scene on tenterhooks. Glück befriends Gigi, mimin at the Schauspielhaus, who provides him with the hottest information from the "Intrigantenstadl". A trip to southern Styria not only brings the two closer together, but also takes Glück a great deal further in his investigation. Love, hate, revenge, fear: many paths lead to crime - and its solution.
