Inclusive diagnostics is of central importance in light of the increasing heterogeneity of the student body. It serves educators to identify individual competencies and specific needs of learners, and based on that, to develop appropriate concepts for education and support. Regardless of the learning environment, it takes into account procedures for qualitative observation as well as test-theoretical measurement. At the same time, it aligns with the state of science, responds to new challenges, and is aware of the limits of its professional jurisdiction.

The Handbook of Inclusive Diagnostics promotes interdisciplinary dialogue and addresses the specifics of subjects and areas of support. The second edition has been updated accordingly and expanded with seven new contributions.
