Handbuch Europa in Nordrhein-Westfalen

The handbook Europe in NRW shows the European political structures within the state and thus provides more transparency. It presents around 1000 actors from NRW who are dedicated to the topic of Europe. The new edition offers a complete update of the data and is expanded to include additional areas. The data is systematically arranged according to policy areas. Each area is preceded by a scientific article on the interconnections of the regional and supranational levels. These articles already take into account all the changes brought about by the Lisbon Treaty and the Union's new funding programs. The confusing web of relations between NRW and the European Union is disentangled and systematized by the handbook. This publication can be used by those active in European policy in NRW as a tool for information and for establishing cooperation.
