Handbuch Alttestamentliche Anthropologie

In recent decades, the anthropology of the Old Testament has been rediscovered not only as an Old Testament theological topic but also as an interdisciplinary research subject, driven forward by a multitude of contributions. During the same period, anthropology has also established itself as a comprehensive research paradigm in history and cultural studies, ethnology, philosophy, as well as in communication and media studies. The Handbook of Old Testament Anthropology (HAA), which contains 15 articles by individuals, 150 conceptual articles, and 15 articles on concepts, aims to summarize the current state of research, advance it through new perspectives and interdisciplinary accents, and make it accessible to interested readers in the compact form of a handbook.
