Halle Yearbooks – This was the name of a magazine published by Marx's occasional companion Arnold Ruge from 1838 to 1841 in Halle. It combined politics with literary essays, science with literature, reflection with entertainment. The focal point of the publication was the concept of critique. Once the false is recognized, Adorno later summarized this tradition: "Is it already an index of the right, the better." The new Halle Yearbooks aim to connect with these beliefs to make a small contribution to strengthening historical consciousness and political discernment.
