The conference addresses liability issues related to the topic of mountains. What risks does the mountain pose? Are these risks always surmountable? Who is responsible in the event of accidents in the mountains? The speakers in the contributions of this conference proceedings deal with complex and sometimes controversial definitions and distinctions regarding these questions. Opinions are presented, solutions are proposed, and also postulates for legislative changes related to the classification of reductions in risk under the UVG or the implementation of a unified seriousness scale for climbing hazards are formulated. The new legislation on risk activities will also be introduced.
