Häsel-Weide:Inklusion verstehen

The anchoring of inclusion as a cross-cutting theme in teacher training programs calls for an interdisciplinary dialogue about the concept of inclusive teaching design. The research group at the University of Paderborn uses vignettes as a methodological starting point, presenting condensed case studies from teaching practice that can be read from various interdisciplinary practical-theoretical perspectives and discussed collectively. In line with practical-theoretical work, the book "Practices in Inclusive Subject Teaching" will reflect on the tension between normative (special) educational and (subject-didactic) assumptions in order to develop responsible actions from this reflection. The collection of vignettes invites discursive exchange, contrasting, or 'capturing' personally experienced teaching practices on the path to understanding inclusion in theory and practice.
