What slumbers in the depths of our existence, what breathes there and clenches its teeth? "The Sound of Still Life" is an artfully woven conundrum. Secondary characters in one story become the main character in another, objects change hands from tale to tale. At some point, the still life has an inclination of 56.75 degrees and can no longer be stopped.
