The examination of the relationships that individuals maintain with one another has always been at the center of interest across various fields of knowledge. Due to the plurality and diversity of approaches that have been accepted as legitimate references for the production of knowledge about group processes, this study provides a theoretical overview that focuses on a specific model: operational groups. Each operational group presupposes learning, and from the perspective of operational groups, learning is synonymous with change. It can be concluded that the investigation of a model for working in groups, based on the principles of change, is particularly suitable given the challenges and demands of the many different groups to which we belong today.
