Proven content in a new format: The new edition of the standard work "Group B: The Rise and Fall of the Rally Monsters" is now available in a new 24.5 x 30 cm format and with only one language per book. This allowed authors Reinhard Klein and John Davenport to include more fascinating images from the wildest era of rallying, when it seemed that all boundaries were pushed aside. This book describes the history of the cars developed in Group B, from the Quattros to the outstanding Lancias and Peugeots, as well as exotic models like the Mazda RX7. The entire development culminated in the year 1986, a season in which incredible enthusiasm turned into uncontrollable danger. The recklessness of creators and fans led to tragic accidents and ultimately resulted in the ban on super sports cars.
