Introduction to Criminal Law - presented in an easily understandable and practice-relevant manner. The subject of criminal law concerns many people involved in social and economic life. A complex dogmatics makes criminal law difficult to understand for those who do not engage with it regularly and in depth. This New Practitioner's Script (NPS) aims to meet the informational needs of legally interested individuals without requiring them to delve deeply into the specific legal dogmatics. It attempts to present practice-relevant parts of the entire criminal law (substantive criminal law, criminal procedure, and sanctions law) and to clarify them with examples. The present 3rd edition is current as of September 1, 2024, and particularly takes into account the changes brought about by the 2022 Act on the Adjustment of Measures in Custody.
