This is Heiko writing, and together with Katja, we created our website ada2go as well as various book series. In this book, we explore the topic of communication. After reading, you will have fewer question marks in your head, and your communication skills, both professionally and personally, are likely to improve. It's always great when you can measure learning outcomes directly! As a lecturer and examiner, I have used existing literature for many years, but with each course or coaching, I became increasingly dissatisfied. So, I wanted to do everything better and, of course, I hope that I have succeeded. An important aspect of my work is to engage my course participants and show them that the topic of training is not dry or dull. There is always a very good atmosphere, which positively affects the courses. When people are having fun, they simply learn better.

We have tried to pack all the positive aspects of our courses into book format to make it very easy for you to dive into the topic. As with anything, it should be noted here: With this reading, you will gain foundational knowledge that can later be built upon and expanded. Please remember: This is about the basics and fundamental techniques of communication. This book is not a study companion or anything like that. The purpose of the book is to introduce you to important basic concepts and techniques that you can further develop if you wish. In the following chapters, we will learn a lot of content, including:
