Summary: Since the publication of the last edition, the Swiss Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) has undergone numerous significant and minor amendments. These include the new property law, the new adult and child protection law, the Book Effect Law, the revised Lugano Convention, and the new banking bankruptcy regulation. Additionally, the new restructuring law, which has already been passed by Parliament, has been included. Furthermore, a comprehensive update has been made to include the extensive case law of the Federal Court, which has clarified several previously unresolved fundamental questions in the areas of attachment and contestation law, as well as regarding the new federal civil procedure code. Thus, students, practitioners, and courts once again have access to a highly relevant teaching and working tool that enables them to quickly and easily gain a concise and reliable overview not only of the current state but also of the future developments of the SchKG.
