Now, Volume 2 "Fundamentals of Body Height, Body Weight, Body Composition, and Hand Strength in Adults" of the "VDD Guidelines for Nutritional Therapy and Process-Oriented Action in Dietetics" is available. The Association of Dietitians - German Federal Association e.V. (VDD) thus expands Volume 1 "Manual for the German Nutrition Care Process (G-NCP)" of the guidelines with a first practical supplement. The VDD guidelines are to be understood from the perspective of dietitians as a bridge to and between the guidelines of the relevant professional societies or the working group of scientific medical professional societies; they also create a connection to specialized literature and textbooks in dietetics, nutritional medicine, and nutritional science. Volume 2 serves as a practical resource that is useful both for screening for malnutrition and for standardized nutritional therapy.
