The new versions of DIN 4085 (2017), the EAB "Recommendations of the Working Group "Excavation Pits"" (2012), the EAU "Recommendations of the Working Committee "Embankment Surroundings"" (2012) and Supplement 1 to DIN 4084 (2018) must also be taken into account as supplementary regulations. In accordance with the overall concept of this three-part book series "Foundation Engineering in Examples", the focus in Part 3 is again on the extensive collection and application-related presentation of examples, tasks (with solutions), questions and answers. For the present 5th edition, Part 3 has been brought up to date and additional examples have been incorporated.
