Nick Zakos is annoyed by the Munich winter - spring simply won't come this year. He also has relationship problems again - and trying to quit smoking doesn't exactly improve his mood. A tricky case comes up on his desk: a graphic designer is murdered, and soon an African refugee is the target of an investigation. But he was deported from Germany and is now in Greece. Zakos promptly gets his springtime: the commissioner follows the suspect to glorious Athens and meets his colleague Fani as well as a whole host of highly complicated entanglements ...
